Clapforourcarers want to shout out a huge thanks to all our supporters and partners who have helped us create and share our messages, and who have enabled the Clap For Our Carers movement to keep growing. Applause… we couldn’t have done it without you!

Our applause to:

Her Majesty The Queen, Elizabeth II – who said in her recent video address to the nation that Clap For Our Carers across the UK was an “expression of our national spirit”.

All those brands who provide NHS discounts for UK healthcare workers.

The amazing support we have had from broadcast media – particularly BBC 1, BBC Radio and BBC News, Channel 5, Sky News, Sky One and ITV who as well as news coverage, also ‘paused’ their usual broadcast on 2nd April so that viewers could go outside to clap, and to Channel 4 who staged a special ad break takeover on the same night.

All manner of celebrities and public figures who have lent their support, helped spread our messages and clapped for our carers – far too many to mention here but including His Royal Highness Charles, Prince of Wales; Her Royal Highness Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall; Prime Minister Boris Johnson; Nicola Sturgeon; The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan; Dominic Raab; Rishi Sunak; Sir Keir Starmer; David and Victoria Beckham; Daniel Craig; Sir Rod Stewart; Stormzy; Phoebe Waller-Bridge; Sir Elton John; Emma Willis; Claudia Winkleman; Declan Donnelly; Holly Willoughby; Cheryl Tweedy; Katie Price; Brian May; Kate Garraway; Gaby Roslin; Rita Ora; Rachel Weisz; Phillip Schofield; Eamonn Holmes; Myleene Klass; Gemma Collins; Sir Paul McCartney; Ricky Gervais and Kylie Minogue.

Support from printed and online press, particularly The Guardian for letting us use their video footage.

Spotify for Thank You Thursday playlists and running ads encouraging people to clap.

Creative Review and Design Week for brilliant features from a brand and campaign point of view.

GoDaddy for donating web hosting and email.

Baz Jobson for your initial support and time spent.

Kindred for producing t-shirts with our logo and messaging on, with proceeds donated to NHS Charities Together.

Hue & Cry – who selflessly donate their time to supporting us with PR.

And most of all… for the hundreds of thousands of people who came out every Thursday and clapped for our carers, hooray for our heroes and bang for our brave… your efforts mean so much!
