TUI gives NHS staff an extra £100 off package holidays costing £1,200 or more through its Holidays for Heroes scheme, or £30 off bookings below that figure. The saving is claimed with a valid NHS email address and is added on top of whatever other offers TUI is running at the time, so it comes off a sale price rather than replacing it.
Booking Through Holidays for Heroes
The reduction is applied automatically when the holiday is searched and booked through the Holidays for Heroes route on the TUI website, with the NHS email address used to confirm eligibility. Starting from the ordinary TUI homepage can mean the extra saving does not appear, so the price breakdown at the end of the booking is the place to confirm the £100 or £30 has gone before paying.
The £1,200 threshold shapes the value. A £1,150 holiday gets £30 off and comes to £1,120, while adding £50 of extras such as a room upgrade lifts it to £1,200, triggers the full £100 and brings the total down to £1,100, so the upgraded holiday ends up £20 cheaper. A family package usually clears the threshold comfortably on its own.
Blue Light Card and Other TUI Offers
Separate TUI deals have also appeared for Blue Light Card members, reported at up to 10% off package holidays or up to £100 off depending on the promotion, and these run separately from Holidays for Heroes. TUI’s public offers, such as free child places on selected family holidays and seasonal money-off codes, can sit alongside the NHS saving, although promotional codes generally exclude TUI River Cruises and Crystal Ski holidays.
