Starbucks takes 10% off the bill for Blue Light Card members who show a valid physical or digital card at the till in participating stores. The arrangement has run since March 2018, and no code is needed.
What the Discount Covers
The reduction applies to coffees, iced drinks, teas and selected food, subject to Starbucks’ current terms and to the store taking part. At Welcome Break motorway services, Blue Light Card has also listed a separate 20% food discount that includes the Starbucks outlets on those sites.
Rewards and Reusable Cups
Starbucks Rewards is free through the app and earns Stars on purchases, which convert into free drinks and food. Starbucks has also given money off to customers who bring their own reusable cup, so a regular can pair the card discount with Stars and a cup where the store’s terms allow.
Costa has no till discount for key workers and relies on discounted gift cards sold through Blue Light Card instead.
