M&S has no NHS discount and no Blue Light Card code, but its Shopping Cards are among the strongest supermarket offers on Blue Light Card at 6% below face value. They work across M&S Food, clothing, homeware and beauty, in store and online, just like an ordinary M&S gift card.
Sparks and the Shopping Card
Sparks, the free M&S loyalty scheme, sends personalised offers through the M&S app, and because a Shopping Card counts as payment the two work together at the till. On a £60 weekly M&S Food shop, the 6% card saves £3.60, close to £190 over a year, before any Sparks offers are added.
The card follows the usual exclusions found on supermarket gift cards, such as petrol, tobacco and lottery tickets.
