KFC does offer Blue Light Card members a reduction, though it works differently from most restaurant offers. The card has to be registered in the KFC app, which generates a personal QR code to scan in the restaurant, and KFC limits redemption to once per day across its branches.
Setting It Up in the App
The option sits under the More menu in the KFC app, then Discounts, then Apply Blue Light Discount, where the card details are entered and submitted. Blue Light Card states that a card can only be registered on one device, so changing phones may mean registering again. KFC does not publish the percentage on its help pages, and Blue Light Card shows the current rate only to logged-in members.
Orders It Does Not Cover
The reduction is for orders paid for in the restaurant. Blue Light Card’s terms exclude orders placed in the app for collection and all home delivery, which rules out Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat as well as KFC’s own delivery service. For someone who mostly orders in, the delivery platforms’ own membership schemes are likely to save more than a per-visit discount at the counter.
