JD Sports takes 10% off full-price trainers, sportswear and streetwear for Blue Light Card members, using a discount code from the JD Sports offer page that works on online orders only. Some deal sites still quote 20%, a figure from earlier promotions, but Blue Light Card’s own JD Sports page lists 10%.

JD Sports gives new app users 10% off a first purchase, students 10% through UNiDAYS, and its JD Status membership pays 10% back as JD Cash on a first order. Because the member code covers full-price items only, sale stock, which JD regularly cuts hard on footwear and accessories, is better bought at the sale price. Only one code normally goes through per order, so the member code cannot be added to an app or student code.
On a £110 pair of full-price trainers the member code takes off £11, more than twice the £4.99 that a two-year Blue Light Card membership costs.
Nike has its own Blue Light Card code on nike.com, while Sports Direct works through discounted Shopping Cards instead.
