H&M has no direct NHS discount, but Blue Light Card members can buy discounted H&M Shopping Cards, which takes money off an order before it reaches the checkout. The reduction is built into the card’s price rather than applied as a code, and the card is then spent like a normal H&M gift card on clothing, accessories and homeware.
The H&M Membership Programme
Membership is free and earns one point for every £1 spent, with each 100 points converting into a £3 bonus voucher. Members see exclusive prices on rotating lines, get pre-access to sales and pay no postal returns fee on online orders. H&M has reshaped the programme in several countries, dropping the old birthday and welcome discounts in some markets, so the perks on offer at any moment are best checked in the app rather than taken for granted.
Sales and App Offers
End-of-season sales run across womenswear, menswear, kids and home, with the deepest cuts on older stock, and member promotions often appear in the app before anywhere else. A Shopping Card bought in advance at the Blue Light Card rate goes furthest when it is spent on lines that are already reduced, since the card works as payment on top of any sale price.
Shoppers who would rather have a percentage code than a gift card can look at New Look, a long-running Blue Light Card partner, or at Primark for the opposite approach of low prices with no scheme at all.
